Mualla Aydogan is a Dagestan-born Turkish-Australian writer living in Southwest Sydney. Before settling in Australia with her family when she was eleven, she lived in Russia, Thailand and Ghana, growing up closely following her parents’ advocacy for diversity and equal rights to education. Having nurtured a keen interest in writing from a very young age, she currently holds a Masters degree in Writing and Literature from Deakin University, along with a passion for creative non fiction and children’s literature. She is a freelance writer whose articles have appeared in lifestyle guide Hunter and Bligh and Mamamia.
